[mood| distressed]

What a bad idea to read ghost manga at midnight. *scared*

On another note, recently (or just now), I read Sennen no Yuki (A Thousand Years of Snow) by Hatori Bisuko, and it was very great and funny. I definitely recommend it. The art style kinda/really reminded me of Host Club. Wondered if it's by the same mangaka. Who wrote Host Club again? *isafailureasafan* =_=;; Also kinda reminded me of Tea Prince (Koucha Ouji?) as well, but not really. *confused*

Recently, I've been extremely tired. I wondered if it's because of my continuous napping... =_=;; That's probably the reason. And I've been extremely lazy with school as I have been skipping my Biochem classes last week, and unable to do any studying. The genetics exam is Monday, and the Biochem exam is Tuesday. But I really have no motivation to study or do well on it. So I know I'm going to fail both. =_=;; Even though my friends have been telling me to study with them. I just felt really too tired. What's wrong with me? I wondered. I've also been very sloppy as well. My laundry need folding and my room need cleaning.. x_x;;

On Thursday, one of my Chinese classmates invited all of us (which is about 7 people.. yes, our class is very small) to his house for a party. New Year party?! I wasn't sure what the party was for really, but we literally spent the whole time planning and chatting about the party that we didn't do lecturing or study at all. XD;;

Friday was the party, and a few of my classmates (as well as me) met up for carpool. Good way to not waste gas (I'm happy<3!). And we did a lot of bonding on the way there. Recently, I noticed that the people around me have a lot in common with me. :3 One of them also told me about her horrible experiences as a Pharm Tech as well as the life of a Pharmacist. =_=;; Everyone is right! I really should try hands on with it before jumping head first into graduate school and ended up hating my profession. Oh how many times had I heard this before? A lot! x_x;; I really should start listening to what people say. =_=ll

The party was great as well. We had hot pot!! *_____* It was absolutely scrumptious! I mean, sure Vietnamese style are similar, but there are a few differences. What I love the most is the noodle~! It's so smooth and tasty. Well, the one we used when we have hot pot is also tasty, but the one they used are so smooth~!! X3;; Oishi~!! Everyone was speaking in Chinese the whole time though.. @_@;; I only understand bits and pieces when they start talking in Mandarin, and blanked out when they start chatting in Cantonese, so I stayed my quiet self the whole time. ^^;; Everyone keep telling me to eat more and “别客气啊!” (don't be polite).. x_x;; But really, I'm not. I'm actually even more aggressive when eating with them than with my family. Because whenever I'm eating with my family, I only get the noodle, my mom and dad are the one that get me all the other stuffs. :D *spoiled* When I'm eating with them I'm actually have to get it myself.. x__x;; But I guess I wasn't aggressive enough?! :x

After the food, even more bonding. Some of us (ok, 2 of us) started to karaoke (Karaoke Revolution)! XDD;; I was actually surprised that there are people who can sing (quite well I might add) in our class. Most of us (including me) didn't sing because we were unfamiliar with the songs. The songs are in English, and I guess most of us haven't been listening to American songs (also including me). ^^;; Everyone was planning on going to a karaoke bar as well (that have Chinese songs), but didn't go as it was kinda getting late. So they ended planning on doing that sometime next week, during Spring Break! XD;; Yay! I can't wait, even though I can't sing.. ^__^;;

The next day was my practice PCAT exam. I scored horrible. =_=;; So now I'm deciding whether I should take the Kaplan class that they offered. I'm asking my friends about it and she just give me the "It's up to you!" answer. Not helping are we? =_=;; Well, it's really is a pricey course, but I'm not very smart, or smart enough to pass the test. So I'm kinda undecided. Oh well, let me sleep on it some more.
